The Stork Club will be having an ultra-exclusive rock and roll dance party tonight featuring Dreamdate, the Rantouls, Les Hormones, and DJs Dulcinea and the Duke of Windsor.
If you want to get in tonight, all you have to do is say "I love/hate Chocolate Covered Records", show the door guy your ID and give him 5 bucks. You don't even want to how much those fools who don't say the secret phrase will be paying!
And don't use all your energy tonight - there are even more great shows this weekend.

No, no, Dreamdate wasn't in New York last week. Instead, Anna and Yea-Ming were cooling-out and watching the Traditional Fools play a surprise set at Carlos' house party in Oakland. But Mates of State brought Dreamdate to a city of 10 trillion people with their cover of Why Don't You Make Me?.
Check out a video of Mates of State covering Dreamdate.

Come Over Now

What is the last album you thought was a pop masterpiece? Maybe the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds? Or something by those Four Guys from Liverpool? You can throw all those in the trash right now, 'cause now that Dreamdate's first full length album is out, you'll never listen to those again!
