Pops and the Jerks

San Francisco's Pops and the Jerks force Japanese lo-fi ROCK AND ROLL straight down your throat.

Pops and the Jerks

Beach Day

Beach Day are based in Hollywood, Florida. The duo consists of Kimmy Drake (guitars/vocals) and Skyler Black (drums). The duo met at a local show and bonded over their love of 60's girl groups and a common desire to be in a band that was purely about fun.

Beach Day

Chow Nasty

Three dudes and a drum machine.

Chow Nasty

The Clarendon Hills

The most-missed garage-twee group in the history of garage-twee.

The Clarendon Hills

Dancer

Dancer must have dug up the grave of Johnny Thunders and drank his heroin-infused blood to be this fucking rock and roll. San Francisco's best rock and roll band.

Dreamdate

Dreamdate: 3 girls - 300% pop!

Full length CD totally out now. And quit your yappin' about no vinyl, 'cause popsters don't buy that shit!

Dreamdate

Genuine Parts

Finally, there is a perfect band to listen to in the garage while fixing your '72 Honda CB350. These girls are punks that not even Phil Spector could clean up. Definitely no need to clean the dirt and grease from under your fingernails.

The Hondettes

If you were The Mummies and you could choose only one garage rock band play with you for your last show in San Francisco, who would you choose?  Congratulations, you chose the Hondettes!

The Hondettes

The Hysterians

If you aren't from San Jose, you may not realize how bad you have it. Your town's rock bands all suck. Luckily for those San Jose-ians, they've got the Hysterians to capture that cool 60's vibe and give the kids something to do on a Friday night. Hey guys, I'm having a Rock'n'roll dance party at my house this weekend, wanna come play?

The Hysterians

The Jinxes

LA's last remaining true trash rockers combine Fender fuzz guitar riffs, beat stomping drums, and what looks to be a Farfisa that fell out the back of the Mummy-mobile into a perfect mix of ear shattering noise. These fellas capture the energy of the 60's better than a pair of old AA batteries swiped from a Roky Erickson garage sale.

The Makes Nice

The Mothballs

Drunken garage-rock from Oakland.

The Mothballs

Ramona

The First Royal Garage Rock Band of Spain resides in Seville. They play raw, poppy rock and roll songs that the king listens to after every beheading to lift his spirits back up.

Ramona

The Rantouls

If the year was 1968, Buddah records would have snatched the Rantouls up, released tons of #1 hit singles, and sent Gavin, Lauren and Will around the world charming pre-pubescent teenies wherever they went. Lucky for us, its 40 years later so you can have a pimple-free complexion and also admit that you love great pop songs.

The Rantouls

The Saucy Jacks

The Saucy Jacks are a mod-power-pop sundae, slathered in a rich syrup of 60's British Invasion sounds, sprinkled with fuzzy garage-punk riffs, and topped off with juicy melodies so catchy you'll swear you've heard them before (but you haven't). Bon appetit!

The Saucy Jacks

Scenester Bangs

Zine writer extraordinaire. Okay, someone just got carried away - maybe just a zine writer.

Scenester Bangs

The Shrouds

San Francisco's new favorite rock and roll band. Don't ask them to play with your silly art rock band, 'cause they'll probably spit in your face.

The Shrouds

Skipper

Power pop power trio from the most powerful state in the union. I've never seen 'em play, so message Briana, Crystal and Brian to tell them its time to start their tour of global domination.

Skipper

The Skyflakes

Classic indie-pop by familial Filipinos.

The Skyflakes

The Teutonics

Bavarian Slop Rockers stuck in San Francisco that spend more time chugging, spilling, and throwing "bier" than playing songs. If Germany didn't want them, why would you?

The Teutonics

The Traditional Fools

Rock'n'roll just the way you like it - dirty! And  fast! And raw! These guys are amazing!

Their first 7" is out now!

The Traditional Fools

Ty Segall

Ty Segall, taking a break from his day job as the Traditional Fools drummer, lays down his drumsticks and picks up his axe to front a new band that's rockin' parties up and down the left coast.

The Wolf Riders

Before The Rantouls there were The Wolf Riders, a group fronted by nine year old visionary Alex Miller, who's obsession with Elf Quest inspired the band to form and perform her songs. Sadly The Wolf Riders first practice would be the last. The group disbanded after only one short practice and recording session. Young Alex ventured East while the rest of the group remained West. Out of the ashes of The Wolf Riders came The Rantouls, who formed because they had nothing better to do in between Jerry Days.

The Wolf Riders only known recordings are available as MP3s when you purchase Chug-A-Lug by The Rantouls.
