You didn't think you'd ever see us again, did you? Well, thanks to a couple of new rock and roll bands in San Francisco, we can't help ourselves from releasing a new split 7". The Shrouds and The Hondettes do garage and they do surf, and they do it in a way that's real: left-over guitars, blown-out amps, drum kits from the thrift store, and vocals that may not know the tune, but definitely know the sound. Its straight from their garage to your ears.

Oh yeah, we are having a bit of a party at the Chocolate Covered Records Factory tonight in celebration. Get in your car as fast as you can, 'cause the bands are gonna start at 10. Or, if your journey would require a quick trip to the local airport, you can watch it live via the internet tubes.

Chocolate Covered Records is going to be at the Absolutely Kosher Label Faire on Sunday, June 27th selling what's left of our junk for cheap prices.

Come pick up duplicates of all of your favorite CCR 7"s for only 4 bucks each and grab a bad ass T-shirt for whatever change you have left in your pocket! I'm guessing there will be some other Bay Area labels there, but all their stuff is gonna be too expensive for you cheapskates!

For all of you who don't have a job and have lost track of what day today is, just use Facebook to remind you.

What is Chocolate Covered Records going to do with a bunch of Rantouls junk that no one wants?

Give it away?? you ask. No! That would be stupid!

Instead, we made the Rantouls Fun Pack by combining all that crap with the Frontier Villagers 45 (as played by the Rantouls) and are selling it for only 30 bucks including shipping. (And listen up all you cheapskates from Canada and Europe, you have to pay extra for shipping!)
